Our elderly are living in conditions I woudn't expect animals to live in

This is what our Senior Citizens have to put up with in Lever Gardens. Bolton @ Home have failed to deal with this issue which was reported last October.


A local resident in Lever Gardens brought the issue to my attention over the weekend.


What makes the issue even worse is the fact that the complex has a full time warden on site.


Bolton @ Home wants Council Tenants to vote for them to run the Council stock independently of Council, surely if they can't get the basics right what chance have Council Tenants.



These kind of conditions animals don't have to live in so why should our elderly have to put up with it.


Bring back the basic warden control to our elderly peoples sheltered units.


This would not be allowed to happen in Housing Association or Private Sector so why should it happen here.


I intend to take action against this and hold Bolton @ Home to account.
